Lawrence Duffy


Mr. Duffy the founder of LJ Duffy Inc., has worked in the office furniture business for over 30 years. He has managed projects throughout the United States for corporations who demand a level of commitment and expertise that can only be satisfied by an industry veteran. His broad understanding of the complexities involved with successfully delivering a project provides the insight necessary to have a methodology in place that minimizes errors and tackles issues before they become problems. Mr. Duffy is a furniture expert with an unparalleled knowledge of furniture products and their associated discount levels. He is personally involved with projects and a team member in putting together project plans for managing the offered Scope of Work. He is a visible team member at project meetings and committed to the success of projects. He provides his keen insight to all pricing negotiations and coordination with senior management and furniture manufactures.

Larry Scarangella

Managing Director

Larry has over 30 years of proven experience in the furniture industry as a consultant and dealer representative with an extensive knowledge of industries related business practices. Larry’s experience has earned him the distinction of being widely recognized as one of the preeminent leaders in his profession. Larry’s clients rely on his credentials for examining and addressing the issues that have an impact on their project. He is widely known for accurately assessing and forecasting the impact of today’s business decisions on tomorrow’s workplace. Larry’s resume lists over 10 million square feet of successfully completed projects equaling over $250 million of furniture purchases. His work spans all industries including corporate, legal, education, not for profit and government. He has managed projects in Canada, UK and Puerto Rico.

Kevin Duffy

Vice President

Kevin Duffy has over six years of project management experience including work for both The Blackstone Group and Bruce Springsteen. Kevin understands the LJ Duffy client centric approach and ensures all efforts are made to completely satisfy all client requirements. He works closely with project teams and the selected manufacturers to coordinate all specifications, project schedules and field conditions. Kevin has handled projects throughout the United States as well as international projects in Dublin, London, Sao Paulo, Madrid, and Mexico City.

James Keenoy

Director of Business Development

James spent nearly a decade in commercial real estate prior to joining LJ Duffy, including stops at REIS, Cushman & Wakefield and as Director of Research at Chandan Economics – collaborating with Wharton School professor and current Dean of NYU Schack, Dr. Sam Chandan.

Spearheading LJ Duffy’s Purchasing Services business segment, James’ goal is to drive down clients’ FF&E costs across their portfolios. James’ CRE experience provides him a unique understanding of our clients’ objectives. James sits on IIDA NY Residential Forum as well as being active with the Young Leaders Council for a national NPO. James is also active int he CRE startup community, having advised several early stage CRE data firms.
